According to the statistics of China Automobile Industry Association, the sales volume of the basic passenger car in the first half of 2007 has reached 2,286,900 units,which is 25.92% higher than the same period of last year. Family ranks 8th among the best selling sedans in the first half year with the selling quantity of 61,314 units.

The Top 10 best selling sedans in the first half year are as follows: Santana, Jetta, Excelle, Camry, QQ, Xiali, Accord, Family, Elantra, Focus, among which Camry, Family and Focus are emerging models, ranking Top 10 for the first time. However, Passat, Cowin and Corolla which were in the last year's rank fall out. According to the statistics, the Best 10 Selling Sedans totally amount for 757,900 units, about 33.14% of all the sedan sales volume.
