On Sep.29th, press conference and signing ceremony of Haima 2007 Tour of Hainan (Hereafter referred to as Tour of Hainan) was held in Huandao Tide Hotel. Governers of Hainan Province, officials of Union Cycliste Internationale, members of Organization Committee and participators attended the ceremony, in which Haima Automobile signed with Organization Committee formally to be the title sponsor of Tour of Hainan.

In the ceremony, Mr. Qin Quanquan, General Manager of Haima Automobile, said: “ The bicycle race has become a popular international sports events whose spirit is in line with the Sunny, Healthy, Green and Harmonious image of Hainan. Meanwhile, Haima’s pursuit of Health, Innervation, Fashion and Environmental Protection has won trust of consumers and is also in compliance with the spirit of Tour of Hainan.”

2007 Tour of Hainan, hosted by Union Cycliste Internationale, General Administration of Sport of China, CCTV, People’s Government of Hainan Province, was reported to be held from Nov.3rd to Nov. 10th. There were total 108 athletes out of 16 professional team, from 13 countries and districts, to take part in the race which was at intercontinental 2.1 level.

Organization Committee declaimed that they would make Tour of Hainan to be the “Asian best , Worldwide First-class, Annual International Race” together with Haima. Tour of Hainan would be the third tag of Hainan except for Boao Forum for Asia and Election of Miss World to make Hainan more famous in the world.
