On the evening of May 17th, Hainan held a Fund-raising Charity Evening named “All for Children” in support of China's earthquake relief and reconstruction.? Donations to the earthquake-stricken area from Haima aggregated to 5 million RMB covering the value of vehicles and cash.
A devastating earthquake measuring 8.0 on the Richter scale struck Wenchuan County of Sichuan Province, which made the local residents suffer from huge wounds and miseries. It is a Chinese virtue that people from all over the country are ready to help the people in disaster. Haima also took the unshirkable responsibility to help the disaster area to overcome the difficulties.

On the following day after the earthquake occurred, Haima Group immediately made the preparation of donation. Meanwhile, the Communist Party Committee and Labor Union of Haima proposed all the employees to give their support to the disaster area. Up to May 17th, the donation raised by Haima employees had amounted to 273,000 RMB.
Moreover, all the sales stores and suppliers of Haima over the China were aroused to make their own contributions to earthquake relief.
