April 20, the 12th Shanghai International Automobile and Manufacturing Technology Exhibition opened. At 14:30 at the Haima new car conference, H1 officially appears to the media for the first time, and is named "Haima3". Including 1.8L engines manual standard and manual luxury, Haima3 is expected to be sold in the domestic market around the mid-May.

Haima 3 is the first model from the H1 platform as a result of the self-innovation. The platform merges the current international most advanced car platform technology, Keeping abreast with the international level in the body safety, driving dynamics and chassis adjusting. The total project costs 42 months and 495 million yuan, using the advanced manufacturing technology, such as laser welding, laser detection, cavity waxing and so on. It has 29 patents, and most important is that various impact tests on Haima3 were implemented in Europe and the results meet with the European standards and regulations.

At the same time, Haima bring another three concept vehicles: the fashionable and keen H11 (Haima3-Hatchback) which shares the same platform with H1; the clean, high-efficient and energy-economical electric vehicle H12 (Haima3-EV), and the concept coupe S1 which draw much attention in Beijing Auto China 2006. Meanwhile, Haima also bring a tailor-made Haima3 Racing-Car for the Haima Yun Sheng racing fleet.

For Haima, the official issue of Haima3 does not only mean the development of self-innovation but also shows the skill and rich experience in car making. Most importantly, it once again proves the high starting of Haima' s development in self-development brand. The new pillar of China' s independent brands is rising.
